I guess it's just a random % chance on any Gold Card prize tier then. I just had a 6/8 win and only got 2 Gold, so "completely random" is the new theory lol.

Why is no one commenting on how SLOW the tournament goes? The timer that takes between matches and announcement.

I'd like to move on and leave ASAP especially when I lose. I'm not a masochist, I don't enjoy watching an NPC who just beat me because of some stupid swap rule RNG.

The only problem I have is when people take their maximum allotted time.
There was a need for me outside the match so I aimed to go quick. However one player just took the longest time possible on every match. It felt draining. I wasn't going to win nor were they, in fact I never personally matched with them on that tournament. But man it just feels a tad TOO long you know?

The post-match timer definitely needs to be reduced. 15s wait (on top of however long you've already been waiting after finishing your match) plus scoreboard animation is very patience grinding, especially if you just lost a frustrating match. That timer should only be like 5s.

Honestly the final scoreboard tally animation is also completely unnecessary. After the final round, you have to see the scores THREE different times (post match pairings board, score tally and standings switch animation, final standings screen) before you can actually leave. I feel it should just skip right to the final board after the 3rd match ends.

Can we also be allowed to use the chat while participating in a tournament? Not being able to chat while playing was incredibly annoying.

It's just unnecessarily long and secretive for nothing. Also, who's using the invite-only tournament? Overall a flop.

That's actually a quite valid concern. After the third match you can already see the final results more or less.

Also more transparent rewards table would be very welcome.
So far my platinum packs are as follows 6/4 and as mentioned above 4/2 (which baffles me still).

Any chance they'd listen to us? It's such a big turn off to play it. I just want the stupid achievement umbrella, I would NEVER touch open tournament after getting the umbrella.

if an NPC wins a tournament, give win credit to the highest ranking actual player in the tournament.

winning one tournament during a signup period is 50 hours of tournament play minimum for the title.
