Yes it kind of is. Final Fantasies are exalted for their Story more then anything else. Toning down what should be, and I hate using this word, epic encounters because it is too hard for people unwilling to find or build a group is going to ruin the game. If this were any other game I'd say fug it and move off but this is a game I actually care about. Hate to see it become a mediocre flash in the pan because they tilted their hats towards people who can't even be arsed to put in a ounce of effort. Those kinds of subscribers tend to be fickle as the wind and will hurt the game in the long run. They will have to resort to stop gap measures like, "FREE MOUNTS FOR RETURNS PLAYERS! REFER A FRIEND AND GET A FREE CAPPED JOB!" to keep their numbers up because they made a hallow gameplay experience.
