CoP

My linkshell had a group going through and they were already a good two weeks ahead of me. Said they could get me in the next round but I didn't want that. So you know what I did? I shouted. I didn't /shout CoP [Can I have it?] {Please invite}

I looked up my fights. I did my research. I bought my overpriced 1 time use items. I put together the party. I preped them and then I tanked my way through CoP. (Which I later did on PUP which is wayyyy more fun)

It took me 3 weeks to go through that stubborn bastard and I did 90% of the work myself. So don't even START with this 'poor me it is too hard to find PT's to do stuff with'. Deal with it. Better yet actually deal with it. Instead of waiting around endlessly in town go out and BUILD your PT and GET it DONE. If you think getting invited to a PT for an event and completing it is good. Just wait until you LEAD it. It is like find a $20 bill in your back pocket a hundred times in a row. FFXIV will never be as hard as CoP which saddens me a great deal. That also means that any content we'll have in the future will be a fraction of the difficulty of going through CoP and I crawed my way to victory on that. You can too.

So any hardships you're having getting a PT together for a single fight that you never have to do again. You don't have my sympathies. Time and time again I have found that it is lack of assertiveness rather then lack of available PT's that leads to you not completing your goals. Take the challenge head on and defeat that which stands in your way. Be it a monster or your own nervousness of starting a shout for something you need. This is a MULTI player game. Find other players and USE them.
I give up.....ever herd about real life ? Thats where the hardships are.....those are video GAMESwhy want a feeling of accomplisment in those...i want to have fun. Goddammit, finishing COP never gave me a raise or standing in the society...running around SEA never got me laid....AND IT NEVER will, its just a game.

I am sorry, I just don't get the point at all...
