Request: I don't want to solo the main scenario

Serious question: Will you quit when you can't solo the main storyline? For example if the later 10+ missions + expansion missions require you to party, will you quit? Especially for example those of us who wanted to do it WITH people (you know, the CHOICES you soloers keep talking about?) were FORCED to do it solo.

Why is it ok to be FORCED TO DO IT SOLO but not to be "Forced to do it in a Party"?

I'll answer that question on my own experience. I got through Wings of The Goddess 1/3 the way before I quit FFXI late last year, which is sad because I wanted to finish that expansion before moving on. The only thing kept me back was simply there was no more groups doing it. Not even the dying LS I was in was enough. Was a good 7 years while it lasted. try to understand, I was at it for months trying to finish that story. So no, I don't want to be forced into a group.
