I have weapons and gear that need mounted and displayed - NOT on a mannequin that takes up several market board slots.

You can play with the mannequins so they're not taking up MB space once your gear is displayed.

Make sure you have the listings temporarily available. Add the gear to the mannequin. Make sure things are displaying as you want. Go to the normal retainer interface and cancel the "listings" for that gear. The mannequin will retain their appearance even though the items are no longer listed and you can return the gear back to the glamour dresser or wherever.

The mannequin will also retain that appearance if you put it into storage. The appearance is only lost if you move them mannequin to your character inventory or choose new items to display.

There is a generic showcase that might be big enough to place a couple of mannequin in if you still want the gear displayed behind glass. I haven't had time to play with it yet but if I get to it in the next day or two I'll post the result.

Also, don't bother with the Dress Form if you were hoping to display a body item on it. It's not interactive, which was rather disappointing.

Is there anyway to "float" the mannequin inside the case? If I put a tabletop item inside, it will stay over the base, but since mannequins aren't tabletops, mine sink. And it does make a difference because I'm trying to make a Dwarven display...

I'm on PS4 btw, so I wish I could do it without a mouse...

Should be able to float Mannequins the same way we float the NPC vendors but I don't know if that will cause their heads to clip the top with the taller races.

A friend told me there is a floating guide for controllers on YouTube though I haven't gone looking for it myself. It's also supposed to be a bit trickier to accomplish. You might want to get a cheap mouse and keyboard to use to when you're doing your house decoration then switch back to controller when done if you're finding too awkward with the controller.

I have floated mannequins and vendors with the inventory glitch. They just have very tiny intervals. I use a stage panel and riviera wall shelf to push them up.

Unfortunately, for some reason vendors and mannequins have to stand on something or they will fall down to the ground. So you have to float up some kind of "pedestal" as well.

Also, don't forget to switch into mouse mode and rotate any items you inventory glitched up in the air. Otherwise they will fall back down after you leave the instance.

For my Halloween showcase I had a floating possessed mannequin that was held up by the floating bed. For my nutcracker show case for Christmas, I had mannequins as Arabian, Chinese, and Russian dancers up on Glade counters.

The mannequins can.

The showcases can't unless you try sticking the mannequin in.

You can plug any USB mouse (or keyboard) into the PS4.
