For story reasons, I see that our familiar summoned creatures are a bit deeper than what they used to be. And the lore treats the act of summoning them a little differently. I am more in favor of them eschewing the traditional summoning system/class so that they do not end up being solo power houses.

But summoning will be in the game somehow.. just have to wait and see.
