ChooChoo's New Player Guide to Beating A Realm Reborn

Hello everyone! Choochoo is here with a wonderful to do list for those new accounts, or for those leveling an ALT character. I want to say, you may pick whatever class you want, or whatever starting city you want. My guide will specifically guide you as a Conjurer starting in Gridania. If you picked anything else, skip until this guide starts at level 15.

ChooChoo's MogStation Recommendations:
Mount: SDS Fenrir (Account-wide)-This mount gives you a +1 Mount Movement Speed
Attire: Fuga Attire (Character purchase) -This is a body and leg piece that gives a +30% xp bonus for levels below level 30. Goes well with Friendship Circuit.

ChooChoo's Recruit A Friend Recommendations:
Whether you're braving the depths of dangerous dungeons, harvesting the realm's natural bounties, or taking in sweeping vistas, your adventures in Eorzea will be that much more rewarding together with your friends.

You will receive the following rewards:
• Friendship Circlet -Increases EXP earned by 20% when level 25 and below.
• Aetheryte Ticket (x99) -Players in possession of an Aetheryte Ticket when using Teleport will not incur a Gil fee.
• Ballroom Etiquette - Using this will unlock a new emote. Fist Bump (/fistbump,/brofist).
• 10 Silver Chocobo Feathers-Trade to the Calamity Salvager NPC for special items.

To Do List: Getting Started as a Healer in the middle of a Forest.

LEVEL 1

PART 1

1. Enter Recruit a Friend code for free level 1 Friendship Circuit (+20% xp bonus headgear)
2. Pick Gridania as Starter City
3. Pick Conjurer As Starting Job
4. Complete Main Storyline Quest (MSQ), Quest name -[Close To Home] [Level 1], Quest NPC - [Miounne] - New Gridania (X:11, Y:13)
5. Set Aetheryte as Home Point.
6. Go to the Conjurers Guild in Old Gridania Zone (x6,y11)
7. On the way to the Conjurers Guild, stop by the Delivery Moogle to pick up your Friendship Circuit (from a recruit a friend code) for that sweet sweet +20% xp bonus headgear. Also, if you purchased anything from the mogstation, you'll pick up your items from this mailbox in the future. Old Gridania, Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre (x10-y8)
8. Join Conjurers Guild - Quest Giver [Madelle] (x6,y11), Quest Name [Way Of The Conjurer]
9. Start Conjurer Quest line to unlock, [Conjurer Hunting Log] - Quest Giver [E-Sumi-Yan] (x6,y10), Quest Name [My First Cane]
10. Cast 'Return' to teleport back to the Gridania Aetheryte Plaza. Typing /Return on the Keyboard if You're confused.
11. In /shout chat, ask someone to invite you to Novice Network (for sanity sake and to have people to chat with).
12. Head South East and Exit to Central Shroud.
13. Slay Ground Squirrels. 0/3 Slay Little Ladybugs. 0/3 Slay Forest Funguars. 0/3 Report to [E-Sumi-Yan]. (Congratulations you unlocked [Conjurer Hunting Log])

PART 1 COMPLETE

To Do List: Get to level 10 as soon as possible. You will be rocking level 1 starter gear until level 15.

LEVEL 10

PART 2

1. Buy Some Raisins(food). EXP Bonus: +3% Duration: 30m (Duration can be extended to 60m by consuming multiple servings) - Area: Old Gridania, Ebony Stalls (x14.5-y8.5), NPC Name: [Sasamero], Purchasable : 5gil Each (Buy 20 to last you until lvl 50).
2. Use /return and run SE from the Aethreyte to go to Central Shroud.
3. Complete Rank 1 of the Conjurers Hunting log. (Should bring you to level 7 or 8) - I've simplified this step, but you'll need to go to a couple of different zones, Which is accessible from Old Gridania from the Conjurers guild. (I think it's the North Shroud exit from there)
4. From level 7/8 kill monsters and complete FATES until level 10.

PART 2 COMPLETE

To Do List: Get to level 15 as soon as possible. At level 15, you get some free Gear From the Novice Hall.

LEVEL 15

PART 3

1. From level 10, forget about everything. And focus on the Main Storyline Quest.
2. If you haven't done any other MSQ since the first one, head over to New Gridania, (x11,y13), NPC Name: [Mother Miounne] , Quest Name: [To the Bannock].
3. Do MSQ until you hit level 15. STOP When you hit level 15 Conjurer.
4. Cast /return and head over to the Adventures Hall (Same location as [Mother Miounne] -x11y13).
5. Speak with '[The Smith]' NPC (x11y13) to register for [Hall of the Novice training]. Complete [Hall of Training HEALER].
   
   

   Hall of the Novice is a series of challenges designed to prepare new adventurers for the rigors of party combat.
   
   Players can undertake several training exercises depending on the role of their current class or job. Healer roles have five total pieces of gear as reward. Which includes a level 1 Ring called: Brand New Ring which gives decent stats plus a WHOPPING 30% xp gain for being under level 30.
6. Run to New Gridania, The Knot (x11,y11) beside Aetheryte Plaza, NPC Name: [Maisenta] and purchase the weathered Earring, Necklace, Bracelet, and 1 Ring. (You should have enough gil from the MSQ rewards and fates you've done when you were getting to lvl 10)

PART 3 COMPLETE

Choochoo's Gear list and XP bonus total potential at level 15:

• Friendship Circuit (Head): +20% xp xp bonus for levels below level 25
• Fuga Attire (Body and Legs): +30% xp bonus for levels below level 30.
• Brand New Ring (Ring): +30% xp bonus for levels below level 30.
• Raisins (Food): +3% xp bonus every 30 minutes upon consumption.
• Total: Without FC bonus : +83% xp bonus. With FC buff +93/+98% xp bonus.

To Do List: Get to level 30 as soon as possible, and evolve Conjurer to WhiteMage. All you will be doing from level 15 to 30 is the MSQ (No Monster/FATE/Dungeon Grinding here). Don't worry about gear until level 50. Mainly you will be wanting to replace your belt, weapon and accessories if you get a chance while doing any dungeons for the MSQ (roll need and replace those slots when possible).

LEVEL 30

PART 4

1. Continue Doing MSQ until you're level 30 (replace weapon, belt and accessories from any loot from msq quest reward or dungeon loot - roll need for CNJ gear while inside dungeons - replace gear from MSQ/dungeon loot as you progress)
2. Ounce you hit level 30, stop doing MSQ and cast /return to go back to New Gridania.
3. Proceed to the CNJ guild and complete all CNJ quests until you unlock the job White Mage. (level 30 quest unlocks Cure 2 also).
4. Complete level 30 whitemage quest, [Seer Folly] from [E-Sumi-Yan] (x6,y10) in Old Gridania (Conjurers Guild)

PART 4 COMPLETE

To Do List: During this last bit, you will be doing MSQ only to get to level 50 Whitemage. You will also pause briefly at level 35, 40, and 45 to unlock WHM abilities on this journey.

LEVEL 50

PART 5

1. Continue the MSQ until you reach level 35 Whitemage.
2. Go to South Shroud, (x18,y27) and talk to [Raya-O-Senna] to unlock whitemage level 35 quest, [Only You Can Prevent Forest Ire]. Grants Whitemage Ability: Regen
3. Continue the MSQ until you reach level 40 Whitemage.
4. Go to South Shroud, (x18,y27) and talk to [Raya-O-Senna] to unlock whitemage level 40 quest, [O Brother, Where Art Thou]. Grants Whitemage Ability: Cure 3
5. Continue the MSQ until you reach level 45 Whitemage.
6. Go to South Shroud, (x18,y27) and talk to [Raya-O-Senna] to unlock whitemage level 45 quest, [Following in His Footsteps]. Grants Whitemage Ability: Holy
7. Continue the MSQ until you reach level 50 Whitemage.
8. Go to South Shroud, (x18,y27) and talk to [Raya-O-Senna] to unlock whitemage level 50 quest, [Heart of the Forest]. Grants Whitemage Ability: Benediction. Grant's White Mage Gear (free)
9. Continue the MSQ until you complete the level 50 msq, called, [The Ultimate Weapon].
