Patch 5.5 name and art. It somehow makes me feel uneasy about WoL (even though we know about WoL being fine in 6.0)...

I think the title is mostly going over how this will be the end of the 7th era with the start of the new Calamity put into motion.

The first thing I noticed was (if it is anything new) how Sir Aymeric is depicted with a new(?) darker armor. It looks Dragoon-ish or Dark Knight-ish. Maybe something will happen to Lucia?

Its his same armor, the blue undershirt with the black and gold "Dragon" coiled around his neck and gold pauldrons. It just looks different because its not as vibrant as it is in-game.

Hello knowledgeable people, I have question about the Astalicia / Bloody Executioners hierarchy. In 5.4 Hyllfyr is "Captain" and I know he's the overall leader of the Executioners and now Sicard is his 2IC or understudy or something. But having recently spun up an ARR alt, I saw that back in 2.0, Moenskaet is called "Captain" by the crew of the Astalicia in the quest to get the /stepdance emote, but he only shows up in 5.4 helping Hyllfyr walk. What's the relation between these two Captains? Did Moenskaet get sidelined/demoted/retire? Or are they somehow both "Captain" of the Executioners?

I don't think it's ever really explained, but it's possible that Moenskaet tasked himself with helping Hyllfyr get well. They're both from a really old plot thread involving that crew from 1.0.

Apologies for the incredibly late reply, but I had the same question and found the answer in a lvl 80 patches quest The Admiral's Resolve.

Roswen: Eh? Ye want to know about Sicard? 'E's a wily bugger is what 'e is.

Found some clever way to make coin, they say, an' traded it fer Moenskaet's place at ol' Hyllfyr's side.

So whatever Sicard is now, Moenskaet was supposed to be in ARR.

Perhaps he's just "acting captain" while Hyllfyr is unwell?
