That's like saying that DPS get bored during phases when they don't have to fight to DPS while dodging ground AoE.I think most were content with how things were, they just don't like having nothing engaging to do when they don't have to heal. And that is completely understandable. Mass pulls in dungeons are about as exciting as it gets, and I try my best to keep my healers entertained. lol
You're comparing apples to oranges here. EVERYONE has mechanics that they need to dodge, and everyone is technically fighting a boss. The difference is, even if I'm not taking damage I can still dps and feel engaged as a tank or a dps job. Healers...they must either sit on their hands or use that one spell or 2 ad nauseum, which is not very engaging. Gutting the healer dps kit was a bad idea, and it contradicts how people actually play healers. Removing some of the complexity to healing (like AST for example) was also a bad idea.
