    FFXIV Boot Error Unable to complete version check. [30605][504]

    Seemingly can't open up the launcher, just keep getting:
    Unable to complete version check. [30605][504]

    I've tried changing the CFG file but nothing is working.

    This can happen with major patch updates. Once servers are back up everyone will be able to launch the version check with no issues. I've seen this happen a few times before. No cause for worry.

    On that note, the server connection appears to be working on my end now. Try it again.
