    This can happen with major patch updates. Once servers are back up everyone will be able to launch the version check with no issues. I've seen this happen a few times before. No cause for worry.

    On that note, the server connection appears to be working on my end now. Try it again.

    Still not working here. Still the same error message. Are the servers in Europe/UK behind the curve on updates as all the official announcements suggest it should be all finished by now (indeed by yesterday)? If others in the UK are still suffering this I'm fine to chill and wait a little longer.

    Encountering boot error after playing 5.4

    Hi all, I updated my game and managed to do all the 5.4 MSQ yesterday after the maintenance, but then I tried to go back on after dinner to raid with friends and encountered this error. I've tried all the methods CardGuruGaming listed and nothing has fixed this issue.

    I've exhausted all the methods suggested for a fix I've found online and don't know what to do from here.

    I am having the same issues, game was working fine before the patch but ever since the maintenance, I've been hit with this error with seemingly no way to get rid of it, I've tried all the suggestions but, I keep getting this error every time I try to launch the game.
