The new Riddle of Earth is 18s total seconds of positional ignoring every 90s as you would recover a charge every 30s.Seems fine because the recast time has been cut in half, so it would end up being 18 x2 = 36 seconds in the same duration as before, but you have to use it a lot more but at the same time you will mitigate a LOT more damage.
for longer durations keep in mind there's also true north.

there's a couple jobs right now that feel like they are really missing out on things this expansion lowered overall complexity for the majority of jobs.
I can't agree more, honestly. We all know the drill this late into an expansion though. Fingers arent even crossed for 6.0 when it comes to that factor, but i guess theyre sort of together, loosely.

Isnt Monk now going to be HORRIBLY overstocked on OGCD abilities?
It was already super busy but inside a Brotherhood window you'll now have more chakra procs than before, AND a new Tornado kick to weave in, AND potentially more presses needed for Riddle of Earth. Monk was already one of the few jobs that CANNOT double weave due to the attack speed, and whilst I'm not a Monk Main myself I have a good friend who's mained it since day 1 and who's now worried it'll be literally impossible to fit in all the required OGCD abilities without annoying cooldown drift or wasted chakra procs.
It also seems like it has potential to make Monk the spammiest job. Is noone else concerned about the massive OGCD bloat from the changes?
If people didn't like monk because it felt too spammy before, they'll surely hate it even more now. Was GL dropping that much of a turn-off?

However, overcapping on chakra is most definitely going to be a more prevalent issue now.
It's not something that can be avoided, not with the current system. I'm fine with overcapping even if it's not optimal, it's just how it will have to be and then hopefully come 6.0 they revamp the chakra system to avoid this. As it is though, i'm happy to get to press it more often and not be at the mercy of rng on top of rng to get chakra anymore.

Best job in the game?.....*Blink*.....What?I agree, these monks (or monkes as I like to refer to them) have been the best job in the game for 5 expansions now, I think it's about time us dragoons rise up. Dragoon should have received a 100 potency buff to vorpal thrust to make it easier to play (that's my fav skill). If YoshiP won't buff Dragoons, I'll have no choice to go back to playing Fortnite for this upcoming patch. You brought this upon yourself, Yoshi.

Greased Lightning looked like a mondo pain and was one of the only things stopping me from picking up the job. Now that it's gone I'm actually gonna give the class a shot (even though all the SAM mains I know says SAM and MNK fill the same niche but SAM is better).
