I wish they'd spread them out more.....

I hate having to RUSHRUSHRUSHRUSHRUSHHURRYHURRYHURRY to get hits in on FATEs while doing the weapon quests because there's 10, 15, sometimes upwards of 20 people all trying to do the same FATE where enemies die in 1 GCD and it's hard to get enough hits in to hopefully get gold.

It's too stressful when you mash everybody trying to do weapons into 2 zones, I really wish they'd been spread out more, like 4-5 zones per memory type, at least, so that we could have smaller groups going after the FATEs there.

Also, I wish we could have an option that we could set, to auto-level sync for FATEs that could be toggled on and off per login or job change, instead of having to waste time clicking the Level Sync button (which can easily cost you 10-20% of a kill mob FATE before you can finally perform any actions).

macros will be your friend for fate grinding.

    /levelsync on

have a button there or you macro an action to it or macro your mount as well. I went with the mount since you are flying alot to each fight

And this is not the case for a precise reason : Heavensward's content was chosen to populate it (maps and instances) to encourage people in free trial and show them "hey look there are people, subscribe for more" since now free trial extends to Heavensward.

Relics always have been an old content participation management tool for the devs, with the noticeable exception of Eureka in 4.X

So I understand the complaint but it is unlikely to be adressed because it was purposefully designed that way.
