The game crashes after selecting a character

The game crashes after selecting a character. The loading screen appears and the game closes. Before the game started to crash, I used a teleport in Cristarium. Please help.

If it is only happening with this one character, you may want to try deleting the locally-saved data folder (My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). Make sure to create a backup of this so you can replace it if it doesn't solve the issue.

The problem only occurs with one character. Deleting the local folder didn't help. How else can I solve this problem?

To prevent repeating previously attempted troubleshooting, what have you tried to alleviate the problem? Does this crash happen when Final Fantasy XIV is the only program running? Also, could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
