    Job-based Glam System

It would be cool if the glam can be based on jobs instead of the equipment itself. This way, we can utilize using the AF gear as glam without fear of overriding the glam for a different job using the same equipment. As it is, using AF gear as glam is useless because if I want to glam as PLD on BiS equipment, it will affect how I look as WAR, DRK, and GNB. I don't know how hard it will be to tie up glam to job, but that's my request.

For my own use case (and the reason why I wanted this) is that aside from being able to glam AF gear accurate per job, which I like, I wanted to glam, let's say, the original WoL armor as PLD, the Level 50 WAR gear as WAR (to look like Ardbert and Derplander in ARR), AC Cloud as DRK, and Squall as GNB. But as it is, I can't do that without having 4 different equipment sets, which I can't even do unless all of them are crafted (and still it doesn't really make sense to have 4 versions of a crafted gear).

Again, I don't know how feasible this is with your current coding structure (which I heard isn't very flexible nor scalable), but I just wanna put this out there, if not already. Thanks.

In the gearset list you can link a glamour plate to each gear set.
That way when you equip it (in a place you can apply glams) it's automatically equipped with the glam you want.
Be a DRK cosplaying Cloud and when you swap to GNB they come dressed in your Squall glam.
Rock a WAR dressed like Gwar and in 2 seconds swap to a PLD dressed like a chocobo.
It's really useful and I think would solve your problem.

That is a thing that currently exists sorta, but it takes glam plates to use and only applies in places where glamours can be applied. You can tie a glamour plate to a class so that it'll apply the plate whenever you change to that class.

And I agree, I'd prefer glamour to somehow apply to your job rather than the equipment- which I assume is related to the 1.0 spaghetti-coding meme.

Glamour plates as they are currently are a bandaid of sorts. If you could apply them anywhere, this would be less of an issue, however they are only relevant within city-states and instanced endgame hubs like the Reach and Eulmore. You're SoL if you want to wear plates with job-specific gear or different glamours between tanks/healers/etc. in areas like Eureka or Bozjan Front. This is unfortunate, given the ability to change jobs on the fly mostly anywhere is a main feature of the game.

It would go a long way to see more AF actually in-use (or varied glamour between jobs sharing roles) if they would find a way to save glamour plates to your job stones or something rather than specifically all the equipment you are using.

Cool! Thanks! It works with my particular use case! It's still not gonna work if I want the AF gear for all 29 jobs, but it's good enough for what I'm looking for.
