i try to be well equipped, in order to help the party succeed, always aiming for the best damage... but i feel like it doesn't even make THAT much difference , unless you spend horrendous sums. So, why even bother? Besides, having several classes to play and equip eat's up a lot of money.
Also, i noticed often enough, that it's overequipped elitist people (not adressing you) , that tend to put themselves and their believes over the strategy and wellbeeing of the party. Doing things like deciding to change from second tank position into bard , without telling anyone, and even after everyone died because of it , still claiming that it was a good idea.
I am more bothered by the mentality of people concerning group play, than by them wearing slightly non-optimal gear. If you want to have pride in anything, have pride in your skill, rather than in the pixel's you equip :/
