I didn't like how there's no empire zones or the fact that it just ends and I didn't even know what was going on

It's weird... the 46 story quest is cool looking... and introduces an integral antagonist in the story....
But isn't really EVENTFUL or even worth mentioning in terms of the story.....

In fact... in retrospect it is very backwards....
Its possible that a new player will do many of the company quests that involve the empire (and Gaius van Baelsar) before ever doing the 46 quest and being formally introduced to him

In terms of a timeline... the company and main scenario quests are completely separate, and it is impossible to differentiate what happens... and when.. mainly because you can do either one first.... and in the company quests, the members of the circle of knowing seem to have no idea they saved your ass in the 46 quest either....

I'm sure every GC quest involving the 7th umbral era and project: meteor would be gone with 2.0
Don't forget, it's a storyline only for the players playing the game in the 1.x era.

You're right... I just wish the GC quests and the Main scenario quests were more connected... or at least that the NPCs acknowledged that they do indeed know who you are from the other ones
