Updated /cpose (Patch Notes)

There doesn't seem to be much variety in the displayed poses - just the "right hand on hip" and "both hands on hips" poses that some races already have, going to races that do not currently have them.

It would be great if there are more, but I wouldn't hold my breath for it.

It wasn't a question I expected an answer to since the only people that know sure aren't going to tell us. Just a rhetorical question trying to churn up a discussion. I know many people would like to see much more changes with /cpose, I started a thread a couple years ago about unlocking them and it had accumulated like 150 likes (haven't checked it in a while and it hasn't been bumped recently so don't know the exact number without searching it up)...just hoping they maybe took notice and are trying to implement things that clearly many people would like to see happen.

Well I didn't realize that the hand on the left hip for at least mi'qote was a male only thing until I saw that pointed out in a npc replicate video where they replicate Y'shtola's sister and she using the hand on the left hip pose. I hope it's more than just one or that certain genders now have only one that the other gender didn't. Which I guess would mean Viera and Hrothgar would get one of each other?

Anyone remember how many we got the last time we got a few more sitting and sleeping positions added?

What I really want is the ability to add a number after the cpose command (so /cpose 3 for example) to go straight to a selected pose instead of having to cycle through them all each time.

Yes, this would be a great quality of life change for the /cpose feature.

I'm all for more poses, though none of them look terribly different to what is available already. I do hope there's more than what is shown, though I'll be tempering my expectations.

It's most likely just one pose and they are showing it on screen. so don't get your hopes up.

Yeah, there are always slight variations. I went through my various characters to compare and even if they have similar poses they're not quite the same, or they move differently as they settle into the pose.

FemRoes already have both so what are they getting? then they proceed to hide them behind everyone else so i can't see.

I checked my alt. FemRoes have two varieties of hands-on-hips but no pose with one hand up and one down, so that presumably is what they're getting.

I think it's simple. If your race/gender combination didn't have a hands-on-hip pose, you got one now. If you already did, and it was too similar to the one others got, you get a new pose that is one hand on hip, the other dangling. Thus, for example, I imagine midlander women will get hands on hips for a pose, while highlander women (who already have one) get one hand on hip and the other dangling.
