Personal notes for friends list

Don't know if anyone had posted about this, but I think we need to be able to put personal notes next to people on our friends list. My reason is because people are constantly changing their names in game and there is no way of keeping track of who is who. Would be nice to be able to write down the name you knew them as on a little note so when they do change their names, you know who it is. Notes can also be used so we can mark down maybe the type of friend (raid, friend of friends, dungeon, community, etc.)

That would be cool.
Especially when your friends list gets long people become hard to keep track of.
Being able to loosely categorize people by putting a symbol next to their name is helpful (I use it to tag people in my FC, and on & off raiding buddies), but I agree with you OP, being able to make a note would be super helpful.

Someone recently made a thread asking for this same thing. I want to say it was moved to the UI section of the forums. I still would like something like this though.
