A sensible post, for once. I understand what you're saying- though the main appeal of bazaar selling is to sell related items to a particular location- for example, selling ammo and consumables near the entrance of a popular camping spot or raid. This is what I liked most about the system. Think back to XI, especially the early days. There were almost always bazaars in Selbina or by the zone in the dunes to sell people food and stuff. This was where the brilliance of the feature really shined. They carry the same system over to XIV, but once the market wards became functional, people forgot about this (even though the auction house didn't have the same effect in FFXI)
