So you teleport within the city to the mercantile house within that city.

ya it just means that not everyone is trying to enter the wards from the exact same place, makes alot of sense to me.

Yes and each city will have the mercantile house of other cities. So if you are in Gridania, you can go to the guide NPC that takes you to the Limsa Lominsa Mercantile house that is WITHIN Gridania. You aren't actually going to Limsa.

ya, you just get ported to the ward within the city you are in, assuming each market has a ward for each house, rather than it being elsewhere
