LF FC for a younger player...

I play XIV with my son. My main's current FC is 18+ so I cannot have him join us here. This would be my alt and his main (only) joining. Sorry, this is going to be a little long...I want to be up front.

He is only 8. I know that's a hard sell...I'm not picky about him hearing/reading harsh language as he's going to see it anyways; there's no real reason to shelter him from reality. He's "mature" for an 8 y/o...I mean, he's a kid, but he tries to fit in. He knows that mostly adults play and will act accordingly.

He's into RP; I'm not really, but I'm game if that's what we end up with. We'll definitely need a casual FC as he isn't really equipped to learn the hardcore stuff. He's an archer, so he won't have to tank/heal. I don't think he's quite ready for that...We will mostly be playing together (he's PS4, I'm PC), so I can help him out if need be. He'll be able to dungeons. I'm a conjurer, for what it's worth.

He would play during normal kid hours (3pm - 10pm-ish weekdays and all day weekends). I would not have those restrictions, but would be on roughly the same hours due to his using my PC for school.

Like I said, I know it's a hard sell...but I think if someone gives him a chance, he'll do alright. He's on a free trial right now, but I'm on a subscription. I was hoping to join and get a feel for the FC before bringing him in.
