Really impressed with the FPS boost and loading times/performance on PS5.

Yeah, I've noticed a pretty big difference in load times and fps between my previously owned PS4 Pro and my recently purchased PS5. It would take me a solid 45 seconds to a minute to load Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks before and it is always packed. Now it takes 5-10. I also ran Bozja a few times trying to rank up and didn't notice any drop in performance during any of the fates/critical engagements, and they were pretty crowded more often than not. I even had spell/ability effects showing for everyone.

This. On my PS4 Pro Bozja would lag and I even noticed I was having a really hard time just completing my DNC rotation because certain skills would hiccup and take a few seconds to catch up. Now? Not at all. Game is running super smooth.

Man it would actually be epic if they bring in a graphics overhaul that adds in higher res textures and shadows to the actual PS5 version, though this will probably be unlikely.

It probably comes down to whether they view it as profitable enough. I would think it would be, as it would get more peoples' attention. Heck, I'd probably PAY to have high res textures. If they added an expanded and more thorough character creator into the mix they could make serious bank just from Fantasia sales alone.

As a PC guy I can totally understand why you are so impressed.
Seriously though this game needs a graphic update.
Textures are horrible and it really shows its age.
I hope they will announce it in February when they reveal they new expansion.
PS5 is out and the game seriously needs an update.
