Do Eorzeans associate the Twelve with Hours?

A question that just popped into my head. We know there are 12 of them (its in the name, even though there is actually 13 with two of them being conflated a la Gemini), and that they are associated with a month so I was wondering if they are also associated with an hour or two each of in their time system (which seems to be derive from RL ones and thus have 24 hours in 12 hour intervals), Likewise would their sigils adorn the clockfaces as well?

The 12 are associated with months in a year. Just like the real world calendar, which also has 10 out of 12 months named after Roman gods.

Just a quick history fact though. The original calendar of the Romans was 10 months long, but Julius Ceasar (July) and Augustus Ceasar (August) each added a month during their reign to collect more taxes because taxes were collected monthly.

Considering Eorzeans have refered to an hour of time as a 'bell' (taking cues from nautical nomenclature), I doubt it (like, 1 o'clock would be 'first bell'). Confusing matters is regular units of time have also been concurrently used as well (like, hours, days).

Also in 1.0 there was a brief mention that Eorzeans named their days after the elements ('Firesday', 'Windsday' etc), just like FFXI, and hence an Eorzean week equates to eight days, not seven (fire, ice, wind, lightning, water, earth, light and darkness), but this seems to have been since dropped in the changeover to ARR, as I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere in ARR since, so I consider it retconned.

The only association hours have with with anything specific that I recall seeing is a mention in an ARR Coerthan sidequest, "Blood Sacrifice", wherein a NPC mentions an "Hour of the wolf", which is when "...when the shadows lie the heaviest on the postern door.".

This is a reference to a horror film. The "hour of the wolf" takes place in the hour between night and dawn, which is considered to be the darkest part of the night. A postern door is usually a hidden entrance so during this "darkest" hour of the night the most hidden door is more hidden. And since the quest is called "Blood Sacrifice" the sacrifice is taking place in the darkest part of the night by way of the hidden door which is now more hidden.

So to bring this back around, it had nothing to do with the 12 and a possible association with the 12 hours on a clock.

I don't know if any parts of the day are particularly associated with members of the Twelve, but one of the "dusty tomes" that could be read in the THM guild and elsewhere in 1.0 tells us that parts of the day do have elemental associations:
