    I would like to see players allowed to use 'NPC-exclusive faces' for already implemented races such as; Yda's, Asahi/Moren's, Yotsuyu's, Hilda's, Fordola's, Merylwb's, Raubahn's, Aymeric's, Lucia's, etc..

There's really no reason not to- plenty of fairly important NPCs can be entirely recreated to a T as it is (Papalymo, Tataru, Haurchefant, Teledji, Miounne, Brendt, Brennan, Bremondt, all of the Heaven's Ward, Edda, etc), while others can be mostly recreated apart from exclusive facepaints or eyes (Y'shtola, Thancred, Minfilia, Nanamo, Grynewaht, etc).

Variety amongst players is already pretty limited, I'd rather see a few more people that look slightly like an NPC that likely isn't even relevant anymore than more exact clones of other players.

I couldn't agree with you more as far as the lack of face variety. It's numbing to see someone look exactly like you because the faces are so limited
