I always set it to GPU rendering on the streaming software as xiv gameplay can suffer if the cpu is being over used AND its better frame rate on the stream too.

Really? most the time my cpu idles at barely 10% and only my gpu is suffering... when recording I get -10 to -15fps from my default fps as the gpu is on its limit but cpu still seems fine... am i doing smt wrong lol?

it might be possible, the biggest hurdle is that XIV defaults to taking every bit of GPU and VRAM it can get at, so you'll want to run your streaming software as administrator so that it will take the GPU it needs before XIV can hog it all
