[Request] Can we please get a crossover event between Cyberpunk 2077 and FFXIV?

I'm sure many people - myself included - are going to be checking out Cyberpunk 2077 when it goes live next month. I think it'd be pretty cool if the development team reached out to the developers behind Cyberpunk 2077 and tried to piece together a crossover event for both games.

As we've seen already, the developers are happy to put all sorts of different crossover events into FFXIV even if they don't necessarily fit - but luckily Cyberpunk 2077 would work very well as Eorzea is already shown to be well on its way to becoming a dystopian society.

Things like cyborgs and augmentation are also already a part of the setting through Garlemald, Allag and Nier. So I think it'd work really well.

No to both of those ideas. CDPR is over rated as all hell and I rather SE stays away from them as far as possible, and same with Dark Souls. I rather we get a true FF7 cross over or something that SE owns. Chrono cross anyone?

Overrated? Not really. They've avoided doing scummy things you see from companies like EA and Activision. They've treated their customers pretty well. They are definitely one of the better game companies out there. What about them makes you say they are overrated?

TBH I feel like the person you responded to is either listening to those idiots on social media deliberately claiming things as something they are not, or they're part of that group contributing to the issue. It seems one of the trends of stupid people in the past few years is to intentionally take things out of content then pretend to be outraged by it for no reason other than to be obnoxious and cause problems for media and entertainment platforms and companies while annoying everyone else. They claim to be Social Justice Warriors when the reality is they're just another form of Troll.

No to all of those. I say that due to everyone screaming how The Witcher 3 is this and the Witcher 3 is that and everything under the sun. I hated the game. I played it and I don't see what all the hype was about. The combat was boring as all hell and slow to me. The story was .... I didn't like it and it didn't keep my attention honestly. Noone was talking about CDPR until that game really and all of a sudden they are the best company ever. Yes they may have done some good things compared to EA and 2K but they still crunched and still lied so they aren't really any better then most companies. But this is my opinion. I find that game and company to be highly over rated. I can name tons of games with way better gameplay then Witcher's 3 floatly weak combat. - Any of the Devil may cry games.. even the DMC donto one and Both Bayo games. Metal gear rising.... - so just saying. This is just my thoughts by the way. Just to clear the air.

Yes please. I could already see Serge's Swallow blade for my Dragoon. I also try not to compare Cross with Trigger, they never should be compared, as both are great games in their own rights. I just personally prefer Cross.

Crono Cross? If they're going to go that route they might as well use the better game - Crono Trigger.

If there's any crossover we need, it's with PSO2. Got a lot of weapons there that could make good glam items here in FF14, and "Our Fighting" is just absolute perfect for FFXIV considering the lyrics (not to mention I just love Quna, so having a Quna concert in FFXIV would be amazing).
