[Request] Can we please get a crossover event between Cyberpunk 2077 and FFXIV?

I'm sure many people - myself included - are going to be checking out Cyberpunk 2077 when it goes live next month. I think it'd be pretty cool if the development team reached out to the developers behind Cyberpunk 2077 and tried to piece together a crossover event for both games.

As we've seen already, the developers are happy to put all sorts of different crossover events into FFXIV even if they don't necessarily fit - but luckily Cyberpunk 2077 would work very well as Eorzea is already shown to be well on its way to becoming a dystopian society.

Things like cyborgs and augmentation are also already a part of the setting through Garlemald, Allag and Nier. So I think it'd work really well.

Nah, at this point I'd rather Final Fantasy XIV have a crossover with The Witcher than Cyberpunk. If Square Enix is doing a crossover with Western developers then I'd prefer it to be with another high fantasy based RPG like Baldur's Gate III rather than a sci-fi fantasy game.

Personally though, my preference for FF14 collaborations is that they should be with games that fit in aesthetically in terms of art style. Yo-Kai Watch for example looks a little too cartoony while Monster Hunter and NieR:Automata fits in almost seamlessly. But more importantly, I'd rather see more collaborations with other Final Fantasy titles or games that are closely related to the series like Chrono Trigger or Xenogears since they can fit in very well and the development team have a bit more creative flexibility when working on these titles.

Bro... how how could i forget Xenogears?!?!

Out of the non Square Enix IP, I would love to see a collaboration with Granblue Fantasy or Shadowverse the most especially since many of the artists at Cygames worked on past Final Fantasy titles so its an aesthetic fit.

SOULCALIBUR is one of my favorite games of all time but I feel like a collaboration is unlikely and unusual. It's a little strange for an MMORPG to do a collaboration with a fighting game but I'm all for if it can fit aesthetically. Soul Edge to me is one of the most iconic weapons in video games and I would love to get my hands on it as a Dark Knight main! Dragoon armor pieces would also be pretty cool as DLC character creation items in SOULCALIBUR.

As for Devil May Cry, I think it would be more interesting if Yoshi-P can get that collaboration but for Final Fantasy XVI instead since people love to compare FF16 with DMC5 after seeing the gameplay lol.

I agree with FFXVI but didn't place it due to Other FF entries being covered.

I only mentioned DMC due to the comedic chance of Thancred & Dante staring at each other in their first meeting and commenting on each other's style & coats. Also weapon glams from all previous DMC's.

Also like to add any of the Tales series. Next one looks damn good.

Cyberpunk would be pretty fun to have a crossover with in this game. It's supposedly coming out very soon, and I know A LOT of people are excited. It would certainly fit in theme with the allagan stuff and whatever else written to justify crossovers.

I'm sure it'll be a great game, but I can't say I'm a fan of the Cyberpunk setting and world. I can't relate it to Eorzea either >_<
