    Her? is this a ragging on female tank players or some specific tank you encountered?

    I see both male and female players do this, and yes, it is quite annoying when this happens. Main reason I don't stop for more than 2 AOEs (full combo) if I'm still going with the pull when I play tank.

    What's more annoying though is when the tank mistakes it for an aoe, and they move out of it... repeatedly... It happens more than you think but shitposting in chat about it ("Local tank afraid of Doton, more news at 11!") or just plainly explaining it's not an enemy AOE usually leads to them correcting their mistake.

    No, in the English language "him" and such variants are an archaic form of generic pronoun but still see some rare use, the proper generic pronoun in modern English is "them" and its variants, though.
