Xbox controller help pc

Playing on pc and using a Xbox controller. On the controller the dpad and left joystick is switched compared to a PlayStation controller. When I want to navigate menu, settings, pf etc I have to use dpad because the left joystick moves my character. Is there a way to make it so the left joystick can navigate menu and etc like on a PlayStation controller?

There's a calibration. Go to system settings, open gamepad settings tab, and there will be a button for opening calibration menu, where you'll be able to reassign all your buttons, sticks included. There's also buttons customization right under calibration, check that too.
That said, though, on Dualshock moving is binded on left stick by default, too.

mmm, i use a ps4 dualshock controller and the left analog moves my character and i have to use the dpad to navigate menus on both ps4 and pc. im not exactly sure what you're talking about

that's how it is on dualshocks as well. left analog is hard-bound to movement when using a controller
