    Relic/Anima/Eureka/Resistance style weapons suggestion

    To enhance the usage and prolong the lifespan (even if just a small amount) of these weapons which people invest a large amount of time and energy into, I would like to see an additional quest at the end of the series which converts the weapon into a scalable ilvl piece (similar to Aetheryte Earring) which can be used for leveling in the next expansion pack. This provides players something extra to do with the large amount of "no new content" time between .55 patches and the release of the new expansion, as well as a quality of life adjustment for players who can use the story's new weapon coffers on alternate jobs for leveling.

    An example: Eureka/Physeos weapon going into Shadowbringers

    Starts at iLVL 405
    At level 75, it becomes iLVL 406
    At level 76, it becomes iLVL 409
    At level 77, it becomes iLVL 412
    At level 78, it becomes iLVL 415
    At level 79, it becomes iLVL 418
    At level 80, it maxes out around iLVL 420~425 to be just lower than the new job specific equipment.

    I don't see much point as its not really prolonging anything the final relics of previous expansions are always usable to very next Cap.
    yes dungeons from x5 onward tend to have better stats and ilevel than other relics but its you don't need to minmax for leveling dungeons.

    although i like the idea of gear being upgradable and not worthless every 6 months, the glamour system exists for that sole purpose sadly. It would be nice to have upgradable gear to stay relevant, such as raid gear, but because of the glamour system, its sort of pointless since anything you wear can be overwritten visually while having the better stats.
    Conversely, the glamour system would be worthless if say the belt held all your defensive stats, etc, and what you wore didnt matter, however this game went with the glamour system, which makes it very hard to justify a system such as what you're suggesting without any real reason. like for instance, gear that actually granted haste outside of bozja etc, or maybe gear that boosted a certain weaponskill etc. Since that isnt the way this game works, its just far better to have just better stats and glam whatever you like more visually. Also, lets be real if they started doing that, people would just call SE lazy for not wanting to design new gear etc. I do like how the levelling earrings mature as you level your char up, or have scaling stats that are presynced to your chars level, but if they actually took this system too seriously, like i said, many would complain, especially if they do just stop putting out so many level 1 clothing styles to craft every cycle, because..

    Only if they unnerf the steps of said weapons (since they are way easier to obtain than they used to be, especially Zodiac and Anima weapons)
