Alectryon spawns too near quest areas

Right now, Alectryon is sitting right in front of the White-robed Ascian, and because for some reason players aren't un-attackable while in cutscenes, I can't continue the quest.

A few days ago, it was sitting right in the path to get to Camp Westwind, meaning it was extremely frustrating getting there.

Neither of these make any sense.

Players can't take damage in cutscenes, so I'm not sure what the problem was you had.
But the world is a dangerous place! Call some arms and have them take down the hunt mark!

I think if you get attacked before the cutscene actually kicks in, it jolts you back out of it.

Anyway even if they can get into the cutscene, they're still likely to end up dead upon getting out of it.

Other marks have similar issues - my Stormblood MSQ run got held up by a mark on top of my next objective and I had to wait for a hunt train to come through. You're not going to get that happen in ARR areas and people might not be confident to go drumming up help.

Anyway, OP, some things you can try:
    - shouting for someone to come help, either in the zone or in Ul'dah
    - posting in Party Finder
    - asking your FC for help (if you're in one)

You dont really need a train for ARR marks though. Unless im forgetting someone with annoying mechs, all of them are soloable by a level 70/80 player with a chocobo. And the old S ranks will still draw a decent crowd, so not too hard to get them out of the way.

If the target has no annoying mech / requiring two people, you can pretty much solo ARR rank A & S, HS rank A and likely S, and SB rank A hunts without a choco (speaking as a RDM)

You don't necessarily have a Lv70-80 character if you're still working your way though the story, though.

I know that Iscah, i was trying to illustrate that you dont need a lot of help to get rid of them. One person would do.

Finding the one person willing to help isn't always possible depending on world and time of day.

It rarely should be an issue though. Most of the time, using line of sight rules and staying out of melee range will let a low level player get past a Rank A safely. It's only when the Rank A is directly on top of a quest objective or in a tightly confined passage that it becomes a problem. Those are few compared to the number of spawn points most of the ARR Rank As have so it's not going to happen very often.
