And even if what you ask did become reality, what are you gonna ask for next when nothing would have been solved, because the main problem (houses being in limited supply) will still be here ? For every house without any exception to be erased every month so that everyone can regularly have a go at it ?
The only solution for everyone to get a house is instanced housing. Everything else is only band-aids on a wooden leg.
Only other thing I would ask for is faster reaction to botting. Can't tell you how many times I reported a bot and it's still active to this day.And even if what you ask did become reality, what are you gonna ask for next when nothing would have been solved, because the main problem (houses being in limited supply) will still be here ? If they wanted more fun they wouldn't have destroyed the abilities every expansion.

Not sure what you mean by destroying abilities. If you're talking job skills well that's inevitable given they are adding new ones and some older ones have to go because of skill bloat.
Relative to housing they need to fix the FC purchasing loophole so alts can't buy/lead more than one FC per account per server. If people are willing to purchase multiple subscriptions for characters well I don't think there is anything they can do about that in particular given those are for the most part totally different accounts. Furthermore they aren't going to do away with grandfathered private homes and I would say that's a pretty safe bet. How they deal with fixing the FC purchasing and ownership is another issue and that remains to be seen. One can hope they plug the loophole before the release of Ishgard housing.
The intent is one FC and one private house per account per server and that currently isn't working. I own both a FC and a private on Spiggan for example and even though I have alts there I have no interest in trying to bypass that intent and purchase addition FC housing.

That's called keeping the game dynamic and modern.
Nothing about patching classes through an expansion means taking away things earned. Taking away things earned looks more like this..
"Dear players,
We have noticed that many other games force you to operate one entire character per combat class. At first we believed in what we were doing, because it means that less gear went to waste, since someone on each raid would surely have an alt class. But today we just feel left out. Other games let you have a gnome enchanter, a minotaur warlock, and other fun characters alongside your main. And here we are, bumbling around in the armory chest. No more! ff14 will now limit each character to a single battle class. Please log off on tuesday as whichever class you wish to continue playing, all other disciple of war/disciple of magic experience will be purged from all characters. You may still create and re-level alts to enjoy up to 8 combat classes per world. Thank you"
Would SE do that? If not, they probably won't delete the grandfathered houses. Food for thought.
See this is what I have been saying. But I'm also saying that SE NEEDS to do away with the grandfathered houses. It just gives re to more people trying to do it by other means. Especially when there is a whole ward of 1 FC owning all the housesNot sure what you mean by destroying abilities. Also, they have been taking out abilities that shouldnt have like for instance the PLD tank stances. Why? They helped out when needed. Also the DPS debuff. Protect was fully dropped when it shouldn't have. Etc. They took away everything that made tank classes and healing classes unique. Rage of Halone is gone when it was the actual aggro combo. They took away the classes actual stuff to add in a lot of things people dont even use. Or at least I don't. And I dont need it to out tank other tanks. There were plenty of unnecessary actions against skills

That has nothing to do with housing and relative to those they can't keep adding new skills and not take some away. Overall I main WHM and am pretty happy with it overall. They'll do it again with next xpac. Also, they have been taking out abilities that shouldnt have like for instance the PLD tank stances. Why? They helped out when needed. Also the DPS debuff. Enter improved instanced mass housing available for all sprouts and non-sprouts, that is aesthetically pleasing and includes amenities like large scale gardening, a market board next to a main aetherite linked to other mass housing areas within the world and of course allows inter server travel as well.
A player can still try their luck on the rare resource plotted housing but with significantly lessened stress.
