Loft collision would be a nightmare in housing. It's better to adjust camera angle/zoom as needed.
They need to redesign item placement altogether. We need vertical placement/rotation controls to go with the horizontal placement/rotation. And it would be nice to be able to resize items as well, though it won't bug me if we don't get it. I'm tired of having my lala sleeping on a bed made for a Roegadyn. But definitely we need the vertical controls.
I've seen people put beds on top of lofts so that their camera doesn't buzz out. Could give that a try.
World might burn. Heaven might fall. Candy abides.
Unfortunately, I've never been able to get the floating glitches to work, the item always resets no matter what (looked up multiple written and video guides, and followed them as instructed).
I would really really love to be able to place floor furnishings on lofts.
Please SE?

That also requires another item for every loft, you also have to glitch it up because you can't put a bed on a loft.
Also, why does a bed have camera collision, but a "wall" doasnt, makes not much sense.
It's not hard once you manage to get it once, i can float items pretty quickly, there are some items you just cant float though, like the far Eastern room well (with the bamboo) they keep falling back down, no matter what.Unfortunately, I've never been able to get the floating glitches to work, the item always resets no matter what (looked up multiple written and video guides, and followed them as instructed).

I just don't have that much time on my hand to spend 12 hours glitching stuff around, when it could be done in minutes with a proper positioning option, (vertically)

Each ground item has a minimum height at which the floor is not magnetic anymore. The larger the item surface that touches the floor, the higher the minimum height.Unfortunately, I've never been able to get the floating glitches to work, the item always resets no matter what (looked up multiple written and video guides, and followed them as instructed).

If you manage to get it to that height where it stops dropping down, you always need to remember to screw in the object. Switch into mouse mode and turn the item. This kind of "saves" the floating position of the ground item.
