    Ps5 on 1080p monitors cant use 4k setting

    Hello everyone. Is there any ps5 users? Did they remove super sampling on 1080p monitors on ps5? I think they are, on my ps4pro i can still use 4k 30fps mode, and its use super sampling it on 1080p monitor. On Ps5 that setting is grey out. Hope it will be added in future.

    Sadly, I think that's more a PS5-running-PS4-software limitation than something in FFXIV's control; based on what others have said elsewhere, it looks as though the supersampling is just on 100% of the time for PS5 software when it's connected to a 1080p output (i.e., the PS5 games are always at 4k, even when displayed on 1080p), but that for PS4 software running on PS5, the simulated output device will always match the monitor connected. In other words, if you're connected to a 1080p monitor, then the PS4 translation layer will be given a 1080p monitor to work with, period.

    I can confirm it runs 4K on a PS5 better than it did on a PS4 Pro when connected to a 4K display, though, so the 4K mode is definitely still there.
