Minor Gripes You'd Like To See Changed or Fixed: A Thread

I'm getting back into housing and decorating and it's really terrible that the items in the Market Board / Crafting Log / Vendors do not have a "try out" preview window like gear.

Yeah, you can preview the items that you have already inside your housing, but I hate to be all the time resourcing to google just to know what the item looks like before buying them.

When you open the housing menu there's an option "preview indoor furnishings" which lets you preview any furnishings in the game. You can even position them as you want and preview dyes. It's limited to one at at time though so can't preview how some tabletop would look on a particular table, without actually owning the table.

- cannot dye parts of a piece of gear and everything just becomes various shades that slightly resemble the dye you used
- gear is often in shades that do not exist in dyes, so it can be tedious or impossible to try to match things when you want them to
- male miquote hands, female aura base stance, both makes their hands and one leg respectfully, look uncomfortably twisted
- housing restrictions with furniture, there are so many needless restrictions that I cannot even list them all here.
- let me have minions run around my house. I know this was planned at one time, but like many things we haven't heard a word about it since 2 or 3.something
- no beards, my dudes need some facial hair
- open door confirmation defaults to "no"
- new jobs to no get old primal weapons. A Garuda chakram? Yes please.
- no option to reset all retainer ventures with one button or just shut off the obnoxious sound effects for completing/starting them. This includes GC turn ins, I don't need to hear a victory sound for each one. I created a keybind to shut off sounds completely when I do these things.
- healers, need I say more? lol
- let my alts share my house and add at least one shared inventory bag.
- Let us see all hairstyles under the hairstyle selection screen and just lock the ones we do not have.

and finally

- more interaction with the community. It was amazing to have such a cool relationship with the community reps back in 1.x and early 2.x, we knew their names and could talk and joke with them, but this wall of silence is horrendous. I understand that you do not want to make promises that you cannot keep. But that does not mean you cannot chat more with us and let us know when you take our suggestions to the devs. The forums just feel like you are yelling into the void.

I'd like for them to add a 'Z' axis to house. While we have workable glitches to get around the restrictions they're so annoying to use and one mistake can often cause a cascading effect on an entire build. Plus the height requirements for the float glitch are arbitrary and vary widely from item to item. Some can be floated at rug height. Others need to be at least as high as a hingan wardrobe, which also makes building in apartments an even bigger nightmare than it should be.

Im using the Asha/Asura castergear, the not really black drives me nuts but i cant die it as its tainting the metal parts... such things really annoy me >_>

also to piggyback onto this, no new job SB ultimate weapons???! How is it ok for dancers and gunbreakers to put in so much work to clear an SB ultimate but not get anything to show for it??

Oh thanks for the tip! I actually never clicked that option thinking it was just to preview with stuff you had!... But still, a "try out" window would be valuable to the market board and vendors regardless, when you're doing a shopping spree.

Still on the housing Minor Gripes... that is not actually minor regarding furnishing. PLEASE GIVE US THE Z AXIS ALREADY!... Everyone and their dogs are already using glitches to float things, it's just that is a very miserable experience. Takes forever, and the slightest mistake can mess up everything.

Make it so all dungeons are guaranteed to give you 1 gear for whatever you queued as when you beat the 3rd boss. I don't think 50/60/70 dungeons do this. It's a frustrating and miserable experience trying to get glamour gear from those dungeons.

The guaranteed gear drop should at least be enabled when you run the dungeons synced.
