There are several possible fix for it.
The one I am thinking is selecting four people for this instead of one.
If the 1st player fails, the 2nd can go in and starts the fight from the beginning (Boss HP reset) and so on until there are no players left or the boss is defeated.

Idk, I think it's just the considerate thing to let someone who is more serious than you and has a better chance of success at it have a go, especially if you're still blind progging it after a month somehow.

Obviously I'm not saying people should be bickering and fighting over who gets to go in. At least you watched a video. I don't think people really mind challengers who understand the fights conceptually but just need practice (everyone has to practice at some point); the annoyance is more on the people who haven't watched any vids, clearly have no idea what they're doing dying in the first mechanic or two, or zoning in without Manawall/Dispel/etc and basically robbing the chance for someone who's actually prepared themselves to take a shot.

The amount of times I've seen someone zone into gabriel without even an essence on or get destroyed by the first extreme caution and then ask 'what was I supposed to do' is just depressing, to the point I wish the game would just automatically disqualify anyone who doesn't have manawall & an essence active when the preceeding CE completes regardless if they no-hit or not just to wipe out anyone who's not serious from wasting it.
