Black Screen

I recently purchased and installed FF XIV. I get a black screen when I attempt to start up the game. I edited the config file to add the one to get past the starting movie but where the game puts up the rating for the game followed by the main screen is where the screen turns black. Can someone help me with this?

I see you use a AMD graphics card, but also have nVidia drivers installed.
Those will fight with the AMD drivers, and vice versa.
If you are going to continue to use the AMD video card, then completely uninstall both the nVidia drivers/software and the AMD Radeon Display drivers/software, I suggest using a free tool to do so called DDU - https://www.guru3d.com/files-details...-download.html - as it helps get rid of all the orphan files and reset to the operating system display to allow for a fresh install of the current-in-use video card drivers/software.

Also, free up some space on the C drive and install FF14 on it as the game is much less glitchy when on the OS drive.

Lastly, don't use Nexus Mods with FF14, as model/texture/overlay/skin modding is a violation of the ToS.

After your reinstall of the AMD graphics drivers, it didn't grab the latest version:

Run the Update within the Radeon software to get the latest version for your R7 370, or go to AMD's site and download the latest drivers.
