I've been having issues since the hotfix last week. At first it was just lag in duties but it has been getting progressively worse. Today I have had an extremely hard time logging in. Even the launcher has had trouble loading its contents, and when I do log in I get an error connecting to the lobby server.
I tried checking the server status on the Lodestone and was having trouble connecting to that too!
I checked all of the "is ffxiv up" sites and they say there is no issue. Pings to the datacenter worked. Traceroute had nothing too fishy (removed first four rows for privacy):

Through another post here I found about the tool "WinMTR" and decided to run that against the data center . . . (sorry for the messy output, also removed first few rows for privacy)

And it shows that there is packet loss happening at the ntt servers(the first number after the server address; I ran it for about 2 minutes), which should be where the ff14 servers are.
