Best way to find Japanese speaking players on a EU World?

Hi!

I hope someone can help me, because I'm running out of ideas.
Here is the story: I'm playing with my Japanese girlfriend on a EU server (Spriggan). I can speak 3 languages (French, English and Japanese), so wherever I go I can speak with most people, but my girlfriend's level in English and French is very very low.
So we're basically looking for people, FC, Fellowship or LS speaking Japanese. We're not looking especially for Japanese people, just people wishing to speak Japanese, even at a low level.

I've tried to talk to some people in game who had set Japanese as one of the languages they speak, but most of the time they weren't even aware they had set it that way.
The Lodestone research, up to now, hasn't been of any help either.

Would someone know a way to find players speaking Japanese? Or even better, a FC/Fellowship/LC with such people?

For linkshells/fellowships I'd say try it over the PF so folks on the other servers of the Data Center can see it too.

Other than that you could try joining one of the discords (pvp/hunts etc) for your data center and try to find people there.

Those are the only options I could think of right now.

out of curiosity, how come you guys are on an EU datacenter? sounds like you guys would have a better time on tonberry where you can get both en and jp speaking folk

Tonberry's where many of the English speaking oceanic players go. So, it gets a lot of Japanese players and a fairly substantial number of English speaking people from a number of countries.

However, maybe start your own linkshell and place your own PF ad (in Japanese) might attract?

Sorry for taking so much time to answer, I completely lost track of this board!

I had already tried the discord option, but the PF idea might be a good one. I'll do that too!

To give some more details about how we ended on an EU server:
We were living in Japan and playing on Kujata (Japan) --> We decided to move (IRL) to France --> So we also moved to a EU server (Spriggan).

The idea was that being on a EU server would be better time-wise AND latency-wise (French connexion isn't that great).
Seems like there are almost no JP players on Spriggan, so we're actually considering moving to Louisoix or Ragnarok, where there would be more JP players, from what I've heard.
