Basically the perk Gravity seems to bring nowadays is for the healer to cast in a distance, because both Holy and Art of War got to be in melee.

Which is a rather useless perk to begin with. It really doesn't matter whether you stand between the dungeon trash or at a distance to it, it has the same potency as holy but no stun, making it simply worse.
So yes, Gravity never had a slow effect but it really should.

Thank you lol, SE please? I don't really see how this was missed in design. It seems really obvious to have. That being said, I am LOVING Astrologian!Which is a rather useless perk to begin with. So yes, Gravity never had a slow effect but it really should.I would argue that slow is an even more useless perk. If the enemies are already in melee with the tank, which is most of the time, it does exactly nothing. You might toss a few gravities with lightspeed during the running part of the pull, but slowing them at that stage will make them take longer to reach the tank and be grouped nicely for AoEs. Also if the DPS attack them during that time, they'd get more hits in because of the slow and potentially pull the enemies off the tank, causing extra hassle.
Edit: Never mind, I confused slow with heavy.
Its not really much of a perk, if AST had something similar to AoW and Holy they could toss out AoE damage while easily applying cards to the dps, instead of having to retarget the enemy every card.

You don't have to retarget to apply cards. Just arrow down/up/D-pad down/up through your party list, use card, and go back to casting. Your current target will still be the same.

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore
