Time Mage will be able to cast slowga on enemies in the new expansion hehe. Just kidding but would be so cool to get time mage as a new job.

Problem with adding a slow to Gravity is that slow has diminishing returns like stun does, and that wouldn't play well with Tank's Arm's Length.
You could make it so it has a 5 sec slow that doesn't share the DR timer or add a blind to it (since blind was removed from Flash a Long time ago).
But I do agree, SCH/AST do need some sort of debuff attached to their AOEs to make them even remotely equal weight to Holy.
IMHO though, I don't see the stun from Holy surviving into the next expansion. SE has decided to nerf healer utility in expansions, not increase it.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
Jin→Ten→Chi DOTON
Get on my level.
Which is a rather useless perk to begin with. It really doesn't matter whether you stand between the dungeon trash or at a distance to it, it has the same potency as holy but no stun, making it simply worse.
So yes, Gravity never had a slow effect but it really should.I would argue that slow is an even more useless perk. If the enemies are already in melee with the tank, which is most of the time, it does exactly nothing. You might toss a few gravities with lightspeed during the running part of the pull, but slowing them at that stage will make them take longer to reach the tank and be grouped nicely for AoEs. Also if the DPS attack them during that time, they'd get more hits in because of the slow and potentially pull the enemies off the tank, causing extra hassle.
Edit: Never mind, I confused slow with heavy.
