Can we have a "block all incoming FC requests" toggle?

It's pretty irritating to see an FC invite every 5 minutes or less by a random FC. When I first joined a few years ago I just wanted to play with my friend and eventually we joined an FC and are still part of it. But as I play with alts, I am reminded by the sheer madness which is how SE permits FCs to send unsolicited FC invites and it's not just annoying but borderline harassment as some FCs just do it over and over again.

Can we just get this in the character settings please?

It's better than having to do /busy all the time and /busy has its drawbacks.

Fun fact, if its the same FC, report them. Continuous invites from the same FC is considered harassment even if it's from different ppl. I had this conversation with a GM before.

Also FCs that send blind invites are the worst to join. If they cannot even bother to send you a msg and ask if you want to join, they don't care about you, they only want to pad their numbers. Blind invites in any game are the #1 indicator of poor guild leadership imo.

So true. The first FC I joined did exactly that and it was a regrettable experience.

Anyway, I doubt SE will pay attention to this post but in the rare event that they do, it's there. I'm pretty sure there's two dozen other similar posts requesting the same thing going back years. lol

What you can do it start a FC petition and give yourself a FC tag... don't need to actually have a FC. Most requests come from people who see you without a FC tag.

To be honest I'd be glad to have that. I know there are alternative solutions but it's still annoying nonetheless.

Yep exactly this. There are ways around it but it's not really fixing the root of the problem. I imagine it taking 30mins to make and then some testing. Why not add it SE? WHY?

First FC I joined was from a random invite. I'd ask questions all the time when I first started (Since there were many 50's in the FC), and never got any answers to anything. When I left after 3 days people were suddenly super insulted by it. Worst kinds of FCs to join.

Total support for an option to turn off FC invites.

It does, but it also blocks everything else.
