I understand that, but it doesn't really matter how fast you done it. People are going to wanna know what you did and apply it to their own runs.

That's why when I see speed run, I don't care how fast people have done it but with why setup they used. Majority of people use the same setups. I'm waiting for someone to impress people with a full job/class run. It's just a personal opinion and preference. Which is why I and a lot of people want them to do away with TA. It promotes class stacking and doesn't make anything more "difficult". I don't know, just kind of ranting now.

We full time Bard, and use WAR burn, then BLM burn.

Can use DRGs to swap WARs if you need, but for that run we used WAR burn until Chimera, then BLM burn for Chimera.

Most content pretty much requires 2 white mages. No need to be a smart*** but with only 7 jobs and REQUIRED to enter with 8 you have to have 2 of something. And having to white mages is better overall.

And yes, I'm glad they completed it with a full job party but I don't see the point in you posting ANOTHER speed run thread when there are so many others already on here. If you wanted that, go post in the other thread >.>

No one was posting another speed run thread. I just wanted to see if others have been doing it fast as well, and if so how fast... What is up your tushy?

Could just start doing what other groups do, enter with a mule, exit the mule at start. Anyways, with your logic of two White Mages being better over all, I'd disagree and say at least two Black Mages is better over all. Two White Mages is overkill...class stacking is still class stacking however you look at it. Just because one of those classes is healing most of the time doesn't make it not class stacking.

If you wanted this to be a "speed run screenshot thread" you should have probably tiled the thread "Speed run screenshot thread" instead of "Chimera 18min SR5C."

Yeah its just really not a big deal on a global scale anymore. Not to take away from your groups accomplishments, congrats and all. But even like you said (you guys weren't really even trying for a 'fastest' time).. noone really cares about the exact times, just as long as it's under the 25. I'm sure alot of us could go get screenies.. but meh.. what for.. nothing special to see. Maybe a 5 man speed run would be interesting? Idk..

This thread really wasn't meant for that, but in a basic explanation:

5 WAR - 1 BRD - 2 WHM (Can use 1 WHM on Antling if you really want to) all the way up until Pesite room (1 of the WAR change to BLM here) Kill the room, have bard get far chest.

WARs change to BLMs.

Go into Chimera, pull it over traps until Phase 2, then kill it as fast as possible.
