You know, Solarra, that's not a half bad idea. I don't do Reddit, unfortunately. But a number of people on these forums - even disregarding the trolls - can be pretty nasty. We all can (myself included, obviously), but out of all the forums I've been on, FFXIV's forum community is largely among the worst I've ever been on. It probably is thanks to the fact we really don't have moderators to keep people in line. Unfortunately, we're probably at a point where moderation intervention would cause more riots than if they were to stay absent. I should probably stay off the forums myself. Anything constructive is very rare, and anything not venomous is equally rare. It's no wonder the devs don't really check this place.

Kinda have to agree with the OP. Every single medium except the OFs are better because it’s easier to sift out the trolls. Problem is, this is the area that the devs are supposed to know about so actual issues (of which there are many) will get overlooked because of idiot dumb trolls that currently plague the forums

If they can't sort such a basic problem out on the forums themselves, I'd have little hope for the "actual issues" getting fixed at this point.

Saddens me that you’re right.

To all those saying “don’t reply to their posts” I also agree with you. We should all be reporting them daily but unfortunately they’re winning, the moderators do nothing and won’t do anything until they swear or something similar
