    PS4 Cannot Get to Login Screen

    I am on a PS4 trying to get into the game and I cannot even get to a login screen before this error screen pops up.

    I have tried everything on my end to fix this issues.
    I have reset the router.
    I have rebuilt my database.
    I have deleted and re-installed the game.
    I have changed my DNS.
    I have connected again on the PS4.
    According to everything in my house and the PS4, my internet is fine.
    I am not able to direct connect, but if everything else in my house works...and the PS4 said I have a solid connection through WIFI. What else would be causing this issue?
    I connected to the game perfectly fine last night. No issues at all.

    I've been having this same problem since Wednesday afternoon (worked fine in the morning) and have also done absolutely everything, including deleting/reinstalling, which took over four hours, and rebuilding my database, which kind of messed up everything on my console and now I have to fix all that in addition to the problems with this game that are still happening. It's really frustrating losing days on a sub I have to keep paying for.

    It's not my WiFi, it's not PSN, it's this game specifically and only this game.

    I have done all of that stuff too. I still cannot get onto it though. I have a feeling that it might have to do with the PS5 rolling out and that maybe something happened to affect only some users.
    It is also this game and this one only. But, I cannot get onto a internet browser screen either. I get the error 'couldn't connect to host' That is when I am going directly into the browser and also when I get that error page and try to go to the PSN Network Status page.
    It insures me to know others are having this issue though and that it rules out it being something on my end.

    It is Sunday, day 3 and I still cannot access the game.

    We apologize for the delay in responding. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

    - Please make sure that "Cookies" and "JavaScript" are ENABLED on the PSN browser. If they are already checked, please uncheck them then recheck them.
    - The issue could also be from the "Date & Time" settings on your PS4.
    1. Close the FINAL FANTASY XIV game/application.
    2. Go to [SETTINGS] on your PS4
    3. Select [Date and Time], and "Set via Internet". (Please do not manually set the date and time.)
    4. Once the date and time have been updated, please restart your PS4 console.
    5. Once the console has fully restarted, please start the FINAL FANTASY XIV game/application.

    Please make sure all other internet-enabled devices (including smartphones, laptop/desktop PCs, tablets, etc.) have been disabled and/or turned OFF to minimize game interference.

    If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please check to see if the following port ranges are opened on your router. You can contact your ISP and request they open them for you:
    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040

    Thanks for your response, but I have tried everything that is listed and nothing has fixed this issue. I am wasting time not being able to play the game when I have a subscription.

    Does this issue occur on any other game? Or does this error message only occur when trying to play Final Fantasy XIV?

    It does not occur on any other game, only FFXIV. I was on chat with Playstation Customer Service and the same error happened to the tech support guy on his own Playstation when he tried to open his web browser on his Playstation.

    This problem is also happening on my PC as well as my PS4/PS4 Pro/PS5 so its either the internet provider or SE.

    I have also started having this problem when I attempted to log in today. The problem for me also appears to be restricted to this game, as well.

    Edit: Out of curiosity, I tried to use my Internet Browser on my PS4, and I got the same error. The problem might be coming from the browser itself.
