Just like every other roulette its bonus are tried to queue for that specific roulette. If you get a MSQ for mentor roulette you get the lower mentor roulette reward. You can still do the MSQ for its normal reward before or after. No exp is earned for mentor since you have to be lvl capped to queue for it.
