At the moment it's just barbaric and I know this has been screamed numerous times now but I feel it's really detrimental to people's mental health. (Okay so it's their choice whether or not they spend up to 20 hours clicking on a house placard that might not ever let them buy it but come on..)
I spent up to six hours yesterday on one house battling for it with another guy. Turned out he was botting and ended up getting the house. I had to stand there and watch as he kept tilting his head at the sign for up to twenty plus minutes after he purchased the property we were both clicking on.
I spent five hours at another house where I'm currently at right now, which still hasn't unlocked and there's eight people here. God knows how many of them are also bots. I know some of them aren't because we joke around.
Before that, I've spent countless hours at house plots where I've been -completely- alone and they haven't unlocked after hours of my face desking at all hours in the morning.
Yes. Trolls and unhelpful people are just going to say it's my fault for trying to buy a house but to be honest, I think that's extremely detrimental and unfair. I've been trying to get a house for myself and my friends for a long time now. The system is absolutely inane and it needs looking into, properly.
- Get rid of the RNG timer or make it less taxing
- Limit the number of properties that a single player can own
- Open more wards or more housing areas. It's not hard.
- Please don't throw them all into instances. The current format is good. It just needs to be implemented properly.
- Take more action to ban/remove bots/botting from the game.
At any rate, I'm giving up for the time being because I don't have anymore time off and my hands, fingers, etc are very numb from clicking. Please fix this system. It's cruel. :/
