You took that bait pretty hard.Wait? Who is this directed at? I hope you aren't trying to call me out as a troll? Cause anyone can see I have a long history of posts on here. Whereas you haven't even existed for 2 months. And while that doesn't mean you are a troll per se, a quick look at your post history does show a lot more troll threads than someone who is just new and curious about the game.
Additionally, you can tell this isn't a troll thread because I just simply pointed out an interesting "thing" I wanted people to notice; so they can't unsee it, lol. I didn't question some arbitrary concept like more skirts for men or which race is the ugliest, or something like that.
Eastern-style dragons don't have butts![]()
I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.
They're hip-wings, this is a non-issue.
Scandinavian dragons are usually more serpentine, like Midgardsormr. Hraesvelgr is more of a European dragon.
I mean, his name is Old Norse, but the mythological Hraesvelgr was a giant eagle.
I'd say you are half right. Scandinavian dragons are usually a mix. They can have serpentine bodies, but are still usually depicted with wings of some kind. The main difference between European and Norse is mostly the length/bulk of the body, and that Norse ones can have other elements besides just scales, like Hraesvelgr having feathers. Though that might also allude to his name sake as an eagle.
