New player planned to move to NA from JP but high Ping problem.

So I am still new here, currently on Stormblood MSQ

I'm planning to move to the NA data center because here in elemental or JP data center I'm having a hard time finding EN speakers and have 0 ideas what other players talking about.

I have 200-300 pings on NA and 98-120 on JP.
I am Tank main usually PLD but sometimes GNB
DPS are: SAM and SMN
healers: probably WHM and SCH but I don't really like healer but I like playing with NPCs

If you are Australian, have you tried Tonberry or Kujata? Those are the unofficial Australian servers and have the largest english speaking populations of the JP servers.

Most of my friends play on Tonberry, unfortunately, it's heavily congested, and often closed for new registrations or transfers, hence why I had to sign up on a different server. Also, my internet is garbage, so adding a higher ping on top of an already high ping would have been madness

My advice would be to find a decently sized english speaking FC, that's what I did, and even if I don't join them often cause they're on end-game stuff, there's at least conversation going on that I can understand.
